Owen Legacy Project Inc. was formed to preserve and transmit the ministerial heritage of admired United Methodist minister David Glen Owen (1936-2021). A selection of David’s most memorable sermons has been published in book form, “When We Don’t Know the Length of the Race,” spanning over fifty years of his ministry—from David’s urban ministry work in Milwaukee and marching to Selma with Martin Luther King in the 1960s to his retirement in 2004.
